Intro to Sailing – this 10 hour course (based on 3 Students in a class) is taught over two days and covers basic terminology such as rigging, wind direction, tacking & jibing, sailing upwind by the tell tails, sailing downwind without jibing, and docking. More than 95% of the class is on the water. Most importantly, this course will make you comfortable at the helm, so you can move on to Basic Keelboat ready to sail with more advanced skippers. There is no textbook, just lots of practice, with a maximum of three students per instructor.
